Gun Sniper

Other Information: The Gun Sniper is a light-weight, highly maneuverable, fast, small sniper Zoid. It has very good aim. This Zoid is heavily armed for its size and can be customized in many different ways. The Wild Wizel unit is a good customized part, but it can be taken to the extreme, as shown by Leena Toros. She added two Wild Wizel units onto her Gun Sniper. It has so many guns that it can't use its tail gun anymore.

Lightning Saix

Other Information: The Lightning Saix is the fastest Zoid ever built. It was developed by Dr. D to fight the Geno Breaker and its first true pilot was Irvine. It has a good weapon, but it can't make tight turns. Although the Saix is very fast, some Zoids are able to keep pace with it, like Van's Blade Liger and the Liger Zero Jagar. Jack Sisco is also a good pilot of this Zoid, but Irvine was the best. Irvine piloted the first Lightning Saix ever built when his Command Wolf was fatally damaged by the Geno Breaker and its memory bank was transplanted to the Saix.

Zoid Weapon Types

Pulse Laser Gun - weapons that feature pulse laser ammo, featured on the Geno Saurer and the Elephander. Combined with a Charged Particle Cannon, they are capable of neutralizing shields.

Hyper Laser Cannon - High-powered laser cannon, medium firing rate.

AZ-70mm Laser Vulcan Gun - Powerful gattling unit used on the Shadowfox.

AZ-50mm Dual Barrel Rifle - Back-mounted long range rifle, used primarily on Command Wolves

Shock Cannon - Featured on Sabre Tigers and Shield Ligers, usually with 3 barrels. Liger Zero is equipped with a double-barrel (dual) Shock Cannon, which was salvaged from a destroyed Sabre Tiger.

Assault Gattling Unit - Weapon used for the Elephander, it is both a gattling gun and a 16-shot missile launcher.

Plasma Particle Cannon - the legalized or powered-down version of the Charged Particle Cannon, it is a heavy weapon that requires a stable platform such as a Cannon Tortoise. Leaved trace plasma particles on targets, even if the beam does not directly hit.

Charged Particle Cannon - (Charged Particle Gun/Beam Gun). Probably the most destructive weapon on Zi, it has the power to wipe out the planet, but requires a specialized Zoid in order to use it. Most Zoids that use it require foot-locks to absorb the recoil, a special Charged Particle Intake or Converter to create the charged particles, and coolant vents to discharge the intense heat created by the weapon.

Charged Particle Intake Fan - Mounted on the back of a Zoids capable of firing a Charged Particle Cannon, it is used to generate the charged particles needed to fire. It is also the main weakness of the cannon, as the fan can be jammed, and prevent the cannon from gathering the charged particles necessary to fire.

Charged Particle Converter - A step above the intake fan, it does not have the weakness of being jammed like its predecessor.

Hybrid Cannon - Not as powerful as a Charged Particle Cannon, but is still a lethal weapon, which has a tremendous recoil. Requires a highly stable platform to operate.

Buster Cannon - Intended for the Godulas, but was used on the multi-platform Shadowfox. Very powerful, but very heavy.

Electrical Particle Blades - Blades featured on the Blade Liger and Blade Liger Similacrum. Have the ability to to generate Electrical Lasers for long range attack. The Electrical Particles generated by the blades are able to neutralize Charged Particles, and is therefore the most effective tool for countering a Charged Particle Cannon.

Laser Blades - More common than their Electrical Particle counterparts, these blade don't have the neutralizing ability, but are more flexible, and therefore don't break as easily. Featured on the Schneider Equipment.

Zoids NCZ Battle Types

0982 - this battle mode means you can only fight with a stipulated number of Zoids, and there are no restrictions on weapons and arsenals. This is the most common battle type.

0983 - basically the same as 0982

0988 - "An old fashioned shoot out limited to long range weapons." Six shots a piece, the only way to win this battle is to take out the opposing team with the six shots you have, or to draw them into close-rage combat.

0973 - Battle mode that limits the battle to Zoids that are not airborne, often taking place in confined areas (such as an abandoned city).

0992 - A one-on-one match with no restrictions whatsoever on weapons and arsenals.

6690 - Shooting Challenge, used in arcade games. Allowed mid-battle entries into the fight.

0999 - Backdraft's battle mode. there are no rules; there are no rules whatsoever. All you have to do is win.

0990 - The ZBC's equivalent to 0999, but with some rules for safety etc.

1001 - The Royal Cup. Held only once every 4 years and is open to all Class A teams. The first to earn 5 wins, locate, and make to the hidden goal is the winner and is promoted to Class S.

Battle Judge - Enforcer and regulator of these battle modes (except 0999).

Dark Judge - Backdraft's version of the Battle Judge to oversee their unsanctioned battles.

Liger Zero

Other Information: The Liger Zero has a permanently bound Organoid system that allows it to learn the moves of its opponents, often giving it an unfair advantage in battle. It's very maneuverable and quite fast. The Liger can respond to many different types of combat situations by switching armors, and has a total of four armors; Zero for normal situations, Jagar for high-speed battle, Schneider for close combat, and Panzer for heavy assault.





Liger Zero Jager

Weapons: Dual Shot Impact Cannon, hardened alloy claws and teeth, Strike Laser Claw, twin guns on sides of head
Support Features: Twin Ion Booster
Other Information: The Zero Jagar can keep pace with a Lightning Saix, and makes full use of the Strike Laser Claw attack.




Liger Zero Schneider



Weapons: Dual Shot Impact Cannon, hardened alloy claws and teeth, Strike Laser Claw, seven blades, Buster Slash, Seven Blade Attack
Support Features: Several high output thrusters
Other Information: The Zero Schneider's blades can cut through most things, but can be broken if put under a lot of stress.




Liger Zero Panzer



Weapons: Dual Shot Impact Cannon, Twin Hybrid Cannons, four Micro-Missile Pods, and other small missile pods
Support Features: Cooling System
Other Information: The Zero Panzer cannot move much if at all due to the weight of the armor. It tends to overheat, so it needs a cooling system, and it's also quite dangerous for the pilot.

Types of Zoids

Liger Types

Ligers are usually well-rounded in both offense and defense, and most of them are Republican Zoids. They are designed to fight on land, but Blade Ligers, and maybe a few others too, are capable of limited battle underwater. Some Ligers excel in specific combat, like the Slash Liger in close combat and the Liger Zero Jager in high-speed battle. In battle, Ligers can take out many Zoids alone, but often it's more effective against a very large group of enemies to have a unit of support Zoids helping out.

Wolf Types

Wolf type Zoids are fast and maneuverable and are Republican Zoids. They fight on land and can be equipped with various weapons. With the exception of the Konig Wolf, they don't have very thick armor so they can't take too many strong attacks. The Konig Wolf is quite different from the rest of its type and is a lot stronger too. In battle, Command Wolves are capable of doing alright alone, but are more formidable in a group.

Aerial Types

Aerial Zoids are fast and highly maneuverable. Most are Republican Zoids, and can fight on land as well as in the air, though obviously they fight better in the air. The armor of aerial Zoids isn't thick so they cannot take too many hits, but their speed and maneuverability make them tough targets to hit. They can't be equipped with heavy weapons, but bombs are good. It's better for aerial Zoids to fight in a group, but strong ones, like the Storm Sworder, can fight well alone.

Fox Zoids are fast and very maneuverable. They are small and have light armor. They can carry different types of weapons, but nothing too heavy.

Feline Types

Feline Zoids are fast and maneuverable and built for ground combat. They do well alone in battle or in groups. Most, if not all, are Imperial Zoids. The Saber Tiger has many upgrades and can be equipped with a variety of weapons. The Helcat specializes in stealth technology and the Lightning Saix is one of the fastest ground Zoids ever built. The armor of all feline Zoids is pretty good, so they can last for quite a while in battle.

Raptor Types

Raptor Zoids are small, fast, highly maneuverable, and fight on the ground. They can fight well alone in battle, but they fight very well in groups. They have light armor, but are well armed, so they can be tough opponents on the battlefield. The Gun Sniper is capable of undergoing extreme modifications, but the Rev Raptor is not.

Rex Types

Tyrannosaurus Rex Zoids are very powerful and have very thick armor, with the exception of the Godos. Rex Zoids can be very fast and are built for ground combat. Most are Imperial Zoids and make use of the charged particle cannon. The Death Saurer has one of the most powerful charged particle beams, though it is very slow. The Geno Saurer, Geno Breaker, and Berserk Fury are very fast, maneuverable, and use the charged particle beam, with the Fury being capable of firing three at once. The Gojulas, a Republican Zoid, is very big and has thick armor. It can be equipped with many weapons and is capable of defeating many enemy Zoids by itself. The Godos is small, has light armor, cannot be equipped with many weapons, but they battle alright in groups and are perfect for specific missions.
